The Finder shortcut Command-Z will undo your last action. In Entourage it’s also useful to undo an AutoCorrect entry. For example you want to type HSA but AutoCorrect changes it to HAS. You have two choices.
AutoCorrect is an Office feature (available through all Office applications) that fixes spelling errors and typos as you type. For example, if you type the word teh instead of the, AutoCorrect fixes it for you as soon as you press the Spacebar or Enter key at the end of the word (indicating that the word is complete).
You can also create your own AutoCorrect entries. This can be simple spelling changes or shorthand conversions like "WKR" is replaced by "With kind regards" or “otoh“ into “on the other hand“. AutoCorrect comes with a large library, and it learns from you as you work when you select “Add” to a misspelled word.
Add your own AutoCorrect entries by entering the incorrect and correct text in the AutoCorrect dialog. Then, each time you make an error for which an Auto-Correct entry exists, Entourage automatically corrects the error. You might want to add words like iPod, iLife, iMovie, iPhoto, iDVD to AutoCorrect.
If AutoCorrect is not your cup of tea, you can turn it off. In the Menu bar under Tools select AutoCorrect, uncheck "replace text as you type".
