The US made the switch to Daylight Saving Time this past week-end. If you use Entourage 2004 or 2008 and it's been running through the weekend, you'll need to quit it and relaunch before it recognizes the time change.
DST takes effect on different dates world wide. To avoid scheduling mixups between 3/11/08 and 4/1/08, you may want to include the exact time and timezone of your meeting.
Office 2004 running 11.3.3 or higher and Office 2008 rely on the Mac OS X time zone database instead of exclusively using the static timezones.ics file used previously.
Entourage X does not recognize the new DST changes. Office X was not updated by Microsoft last year when the new DST changes took effect. Officially, Office X has reached the end of it's life-cycle. Support for Entourage X ended January 9, 2007. Entourage X users can try this unofficial workaround.

And of course, just like last fall, some random subset of my appointments are now an hour off. One would think handling DST would be pretty much a solved problem by now...
[There might be a script that will fix those. I'll ask.] Diane Ross
Any news on the script? I have the same problem. Thanks.
I'll be honest, none of this makes sense to me. If I want to remember an event that I've been told starts at 8:00PM, I don't care whether it is daylight savings time or not...the event starts at 8:00PM! When I enter that time into the calendar, it should tell me that time.
Am I the only one who finds this really annoying?
